CLASSIC CUTS
Not quite desert island discs as in that situation I would take compilations and double albums like Genesis - "Archive", Pink Floyd - "Pulse", Yes - "Yessongs" etc. but if I had to limit my collection to 10 CDs then these would be there.
| Jade Warrior | Waves | All time favourite album. |
| Barclay James Harvest | and Other Short Stories | Memories are made of this BJH at their best. |
| King Crimson | In The Court Of The Crimson King | The birthplace of progressive ? |
| Genesis | Foxtrot | A close thing with Trespass but Supper's Ready is my idea of what prog should be. |
| Caravan | For Girls Who Grow Plump In The Night | Still fresh after all these years. |
| Wishbone Ash | Argos | No longer considered prog but still captures your attention. The new remaster extra tracks are excellent. |
| Mountain | Live - the road goes ever on | The 20 minute version of Nantucket Sleighride is tremendous. |
| Lands End | Natural Selection | New acts can still create great prog. |
| Marillion | Clutching at Straws | Neo prog as it should be. My family home was in the light of Fidra lighthouse making this album spark a few teenage memories. |
